Calorimetry

Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC)

Equilibrium, stoichiometry and thermodynamic parameters of both association and dissociation reactions are obtained by measuring the released absorbed heat. This service is comprised of one piece for low volume cells, allowing assessments to be done in a shorter time using small amounts of sample, and a second for standard volume cells to determine more accurately dissociation constant values.

Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)

DSC or Differential Scanning Calorimetry serves to determine changes in heat capacity in a temperature range by measuring the heat absorbed or released by samples. The Nano-DSC is specifically designed for measuring thermal transitions in small volumes of diluted bio-molecule solutions while these are being heated or cooled. Transition enthalpies and temperatures (i.e. melting points) as well as changes in heat capacity can be obtained. This technique is particularly suited for the analysis of biomolecule thermal stability.
