The spectrometer presents an UltraShieldPlus™ magnet featuring a high performance Cryoprobe. The 1H, 13C, 15N, and 19F Quadrupole Cryoprobe allows the recording of 1H-19F correlation with high sensitivity.
The system allows the measuring of molecules surface affinities, and includes a CCD video camera to record images in real time from an array that can hold up to 400 Biomolecular interactions.
The equipment features two techniques: Differential Scanning Calorymetry (DSC) and Isotermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC). ITC is comprised of two equipments: one for low volume cells and a second for standard volume cells.
The Microflex LRF benchtop mass spectrometer is equipped with time-of-flight (TOF) detection and laser desorption ionization (MALDI). The MALDI source incorporates a nitrogen laser at 337nm with a trigger frequency of 60Hz. The TOF analyzer can be used in linear mode for high mass ranges or with reflector for high resolution spectra.
This technique measures particle size and zeta potentials, giving information about the state of aggregation and stability of the sample or the stoichiometric interaction in protein complexes, being able to optimize its formulation.
The equipment is an Automated Medium-Pressure Chromatography System focused on biomolecule purification in cold room (4 ºC). The system controls and monitors: two Inlet Valve Modules, a Sample Pump Module, a Sample Inject Valve Module, a Pump Module, a Buffer Valve Module, an Air Sensor Module, two Columns Switching Valves Modules, a Multi- Wavelength Detector Module (UV-Vis and conductivity), a pH Valve Module, an Outlet Valve Module and a Fraction Collector.
