General Rules for Access and Use

1. To become a user of the Platform, please fill in the BIP User Form. This form must also be signed by the principal investigator of the project .
2. Send the completed form by e-mail to the technician responsible for the service you need to use (see contact).
3. BIP users can use the different services through the responsible technician by filling out the corresponding Sample Form.  BIP users must send the completed Sample Form and sample to the technician responsible for the service.
4. Some services can be used in self-service mode. Interested BIP users should contact the technical manager of the service they are interested in. The technician will evaluate this possibility, the necessary training of BIP users and organize training courses.
5. Once the self-service mode is authorized, BIP users will receive a username and password to access the computer controlling the equipment. Users must follow the corresponding Specific Rules of Use of each equipment to guarantee its optimal operation.
6. Prices are established in accordance with the rates validated by the CSIC scientific-technical services catalog and  published on the Platform’s website.
7. The Platform will not be responsible for backing up the data obtained by users. Users are responsible for the integrity of their own results.
