NMR600 Spectrometer with cryoprobe

Description

The NMR600 service features a liquid sample instrument equipped with a 600 MHz ASCEND magnet, an AVANCE III HD console, a cryogenic platform, a high-performance cryoprobe and a cooled 2H preamplifier for excellent stability. The quadrupole cryoprobe is equipped with an actively shielded single-axis Z-gradient for 5 mm sample diameters and features four fully independent channels 1H,13C , 15N and 19F (plus 2H lock channel) with simultaneous decoupling capability on multiple X-nuclei such as 13C, 19F and 15N. The cryoprobe is optimized for 1H, 19F and 13C detection with an increase in sensitivity by a factor of three, ideal for the study of 19F applications.
Applications range from structural elucidation and conformational analysis of synthetic organic molecules and biomolecules to protein-ligand interaction studies (ligand-based and/or protein-based interaction studies providing ligand screening for a given receptor, ligand-binding epitopes, 3D protein structure and dynamics, protein-ligand affinities…). The high sensitivity for 19F detection makes the system an excellent tool for studies of fluorinated molecules even under challenging low concentration conditions, as well as for protein screening of fluorinated compound libraries.
